Oded Rozenberg

CEO

Oded was Deputy Director at Metalicon Technologies whose remit included responsibility for the construction of a CNC factory. He is a co-founder of Picaso Aviation Consulting and worked for Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) as senior flight instructor. Oded gained an MBA in Finance from IDC Herzylia and a BA Economics from the University of Haifa

 

Eran Maimon

CTO

Eran holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the solar energy laboratory in Tel Aviv University. In His thesis, he characterized features of nanotechnology-based coatings for use in solar energy receivers. He obtained his B.Sc. in Physics and International Relations from the Hebrew University. Eran is a recipient of SPIE’s Newport Research Excellence Award and a winner of the Ramon Breakthrough competition for ground-breaking ideas. In the summer of 2014 Eran attended the SU Graduate Studies Program at NASA AMES research park in the Silicon Valley

 

Yaron Tidhar, Ph.D.

Chief Chemist

Yaron completed his Ph.D. and MSc at Weizmann Institute of Science where his doctoral thesis was completed under the supervision of Prof. Boris Rybtchinski - In the field of self-assembly and photo functional supramolecular polymers. He spent a postdoc period collaborating with prof. David Cahen and prof. Gary Hodes researching perovskite based solar cells. He obtained his BSc in Chemistry cum laude at Ben Gurion University

 

Ido Hadar, Ph.D

Advisor

Ido is a Founder and scientific advisor for SolarPaint. Graduate student at the lab of Prof. Uri Banin in the department of chemistry and the center of nanoscience and nanotechnology at the Hebrew university of Jerusalem. His research is focused on the study of physical and chemical properties of single semiconductor nanocrystal. Holds M.Sc and B.Sc in physics and chemistry (exact sciences) from the Hebrew university of Jerusalem

 

Prof. Mercouri Kanatzidis

Advisor

Mercouri Kanatzidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1957. After obtaining a B. Sc from Aristotle University in Greece, he received his Ph D. in chemistry from the University of Iowa in 1984. He was a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Michigan and Northwestern University from 1985 to 1987 and is currently the the Charles E. and Emma H. Morrison Professor of Chemistry at Northwestern University. Mercouri moved to Northwestern in the fall of 2006 from Michigan State University where he was a University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry since 1987

 

Esther Westreich

CFO

Esther has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Since 2009 she worked for Arava Power Company, where she managed the financial department, conducted business analysis of projects, managed the financing of solar projects in the amount of NIS 800 million. In addition, Esther established Arava’s operation and maintenance department dealing with 120 MW of solar projects across Israel and finally became the CEO of Arava. Esther was the group comptroller for Elran Group and before that was a senior advisor in KPMG financial advisory services in Tel Aviv. Esther is a certified public accountant and holds a B.A in Business and Law (LL. B) from the Hebrew University.

 

Michal Dagan, Adv.

Deputy CEO

Michal has 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. She started out in the law firm of Tadmor & Co. where she was part of the corporate team, which accompanied renewable energy companies. After being certified as a lawyer, Michal worked for 6 years as a regulation manager and government relation for Arava Power Company, where she was in charge of the regulatory process of the development, building and operating of the PV fields. In addition, Michal took great part in the financial closing of PV fields with total capacity of 120MW. On 2017 Michal worked for EDF EN Israel, a subsidiary of EDF, where she was in charge of all the regulatory aspects and the engagements with the settlements with respect to developing PV fields. Michal has LL.B. and B.A in management from Tel Aviv University.

 

Elad Sharabi

Product Manager

After more than 12 years serving in the IAF, Elad joined Apollo Power as SHS product manager with the belief we can bring electricity everywhere.

Elad has an experience in leading major processes, both in the headquarters and on the ground. Elad graduated summa cum laude from Ben-Gurion University majoring Economics and Management, and graduated magna cum laudefrom Tel-Aviv University in eMBA.

 

Shaul Kazenelson

R&D Engineer

Shaul has graduated from the Technion with two B.Sc degrees, in Material Engineering and Chemistry. Prior to the work at Apollo Power, Shaul held a student research assistant position at the Israel Institute of Metals. Shaul is a born maker with geek tendencies who likes to build crazy stuff on his spare time.

R&D Engineer

Keren has graduated from the Technion with two B.Sc degrees, in Material Engineering and Chemistry. As a student, Keren worked in the laboratory of Prof. Morris Eisen at the Technion's Faculty of Chemistry.
